Shivani Patel MD Psychiatry

Dr. Shivani Patel, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist with fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Texas A&M Health Science Center, College of Medicine in Temple, Texas. She completed her General Psychiatry residency at Baylor Scott & White in Temple and went on to complete a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Baylor Scott & White in Austin.

Dr. Patel is deeply interested in the intersection of psychiatry and technology and believes we are living in a time when innovative tools, such as digital platforms and therapeutic games, can significantly enhance psychiatric care. She is particularly passionate about integrating technology into treatment to support children, adolescents, and young adults with psychiatric diagnoses.

Dr. Patel takes a holistic, patient-centered approach, prioritizing a comprehensive understanding of each patient’s emotional, developmental, and social context.
