A little about me

  • What can a patient expect from you as their clinician?

My goal is to be approachable, sincere and engaging with each of my patients. My patients can expect a clinician who is dedicated to helping them acheive their goals and who works in collaboration with them to do so.

  • What do you think is the most important factor in a doctor-patient relationship?

I believe that building a collaborative provider-patient alliance is key. My job is not to tell a patient what he or she has to do, but instead to educate them about their treatment options and then assist them in selecting the most appropriate choice for their unique situation.

  • What are the 3 things you love most about being a clinician?

I appreciate the opportunity to help my patients achieve their goals and to be a small part of their paths to wellness. I enjoy hearing stories of my patients’ triumphs and celebrating alongside them. I love that my role reminds me constantly how bright and resilient the human spirit truly is.

  • What do you like doing when you're not working?

When I’m not working I love to spend time with my husband and our beautiful daughter. I’m a born and bred Austinite so on weekends you’ll find me exploring the city, boating on Lake Travis, or cheering on the Texas Longhorns football team at DKR.
